At Polder Consulting we design and implement Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) solutions for small and medium sized enterprises in any industry. Together with our clients, we provide tailor-made solutions using a three-step process which is designed not only to support the client’s enterprise, but also to help it prosper in an often-turbulent business, social and risk environment.
At Polder we have more than 20 years’ experience directing strategic support operations across multiple African countries. With our roots in the mining industry, we have a strong aptitude for business support development in challenging environments. We have a demonstrated capacity of creating operational support service readiness through multiple projects’ lifecycles, notably during mining operations acquisition and renewal programmes. We also have a proven ability of developing and deploying ESG/ERM systems and processes.

Understanding your needs through a detailed scoping and needs analysis
Defined as a first and separate step, scoping and needs analysis is regarded as a very important way to gain a greater understanding of your specific and often personalised ESG/ERM requirements. During this step we prefer face-to-face personalised interaction.
STEP 02
Define, design, test and approve your ESG/ERM solution
During step 2 we define, and design tailor made ESG/ERM solutions suited for your enterprise. With our extensive experience we are attuned to the varying requirements in solution testing and approval. Our flexibility caters for rapidly changing needs and operating environments, and we understand end user buy-in as a critical aspect before approval is received.
STEP 03
Implementation and integration
Once approved we assist with implementation of your ESG/ERM solution across your enterprise. Even if buy-in was achieved early, adoption by all is a critical step towards successful implementation of your ESG/ERM solution. Where necessary we integrate your solution through partnering with software service providers.
